Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which handles standardization of Bluetooth technology has approved the presence of Bluetooth 4.0. The plan, these technologies will be present in a variety of gadgets later this year.

Mentioned Bluetooth SIG executive director Mike Foley, smartphones, laptops, smart meters and gadgets that use the coin-cell battery will be the first electronic device that uses the latest Bluetooth standard.

Firefox 4 Beta Ready Attempted

Mozilla Firefox 4 is scheduled to release later this year. Prior versions of the ‘perfect’ Firefox 4 is present, Mozilla browsers let users tested the newest beta version of Firefox through 4. Browsers are available for download for users who can not wait to taste it.

Through this trial version, Mozilla began to introduce the look and many new features that will be present in Firefox 4.

Google buys ITA for $700M to boost travel search

Google has reached an agreement to buy ITA Software, a maker of air-travel flight-information software whose customers include major airlines and online travel agencies.

Google will pay US$700 million in cash for the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based software vendor, the companies announced on Thursday.

Google plans to use ITA’s software to improve the ways in which people can find flight information online using Google search services, Google said in a statement.

Travel information searches make up a significant portion of Google queries, so the company wants to enhance its technology in this area, which is ripe for innovation, Google and ITA executives said during a press conference.

20% of TV sales to be 3D in 3 years: report

TV 3DAdoption of stereoscopic 3D TV sets is expected to climb at an admirable clip, with one-fifth of all TV sales to be equipped with the new technology according to a new analyst report.

In-Stat has posted the results of a study that suggests that by 2013, 20% of new American TV purchases will support the new stereoscopic 3D standard. That’s enough to make it a significant part of the market.
“3DTV promises to be the next significant innovation wave for living room entertainment,” said In-Stat, which expects the growth to be exponential, meaning sales will be slow in 2010 and 2011 but grow at a rapid clip thereafter.

Hibiki Kono (13) A student from Cambridge, has succeeded to create gadgets that can be used to climb walls like spiderman. He’s made from two types of vacuum cleaners Tesco. He spent five months to design these products in his school, King’s College, Cambridge. Hibiki use two 1400 watt vacuum cleaner, which she bought at a price of U.S. $ 14.98 each from Tesco and then attach the wood bearing a square shape for the tread.
